Goodman in Germany

Goodman began its operations in Germany in 2004 and since has experienced rapid grown of its portfolio. One current construction projects are complete, Goodman will manage more than three million sqm in Germany spread on 83 properties, largely for customers in the transport and logistics services sector, ecommerce companies, the automotive industry and the retail sector. Additionally, the company has access to land banks for new developments with a total of about 460,000 sqm. Goodman has established itself as a market leader by offering our customers the best value for money and taking a partnership approach to property development and management. This partnership philosophy has enabled Goodman to develop long term relationships and win repeat business from a variety of customers in Germany such as Amazon, DB Schenker, DHL, DSV, Fiege, Kuehne+Nagel and Zalando.

The German portfolio demonstrates a wealth of experience for the transport and logistics service industry, developing more than 1.3 million sqm for the sector in Germany. Goodman is the undisputed leader in the development of ecommerce logistics solutions, having provided over one million sqm for online retailers, which includes 587,000 sqm of space for Amazon as well as large projects for Zalando, Home24 and eBay Enterprise. Additionally, Goodman has developed strong experience in the automotive sector managing nine properties for companies like Daimler, Volkswagen, BorgWarner und Continental. With the signing of two agreements at its Goodman Interlink Hamburg logistics centre, the industrial property company has broadened its sector expertise to the aerospace industry.

The German team currently has 28 members working in the two offices in Dusseldorf and Hamburg. From these locations, Goodman develops and manages properties in all important logistics regions of Germany such as Hamburg, Bremen, Berlin, Leipzig, Frankfurt, the Ruhr area, Stuttgart and Munich.
